    Fair Use Policy

    Last updated October 10, 2026

    What this policy covers

SphereSync™ is built to help you manage your relationships and the work around them. This policy describes permitted use of Sloane, AI features, email sending, contact imports, DNC screening and related services.

Read it alongside our Terms of Service, the terms accepted in the platform and any applicable order. Your plan or order determines the features and allowances available to you. A paid membership does not remove provider restrictions or the responsibilities below.

    Using Sloane and AI features

Use Sloane for your own business: talk through a client meeting, organize your contacts, prepare next steps, draft a newsletter or plan a client event. Review generated work for accuracy, permissions and suitability before using it.

Do not run unattended loops, repeatedly regenerate work at high volume, use the service as a bulk AI-processing service for unrelated businesses, or resell access without our written permission. Do not bypass usage controls through extra accounts, shared credentials, scripts or other workarounds. Approved automations and integrations must stay within their intended use.

Do not use AI features to impersonate someone deceptively, create fraudulent or unlawful content, or violate privacy, intellectual property or fair housing requirements. Only provide information you have the right to process.

    Email sending and your audience

Email tools are for communicating with your own relationship database. Send only where you have the required permissions or lawful basis for that message. A contact’s presence in your CRM, a DNC result or a previous transaction does not by itself establish permission for every type of communication.

Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested and cold prospecting lists are prohibited. Do not send spam, deceptive messages or repeated unwanted email. You are responsible for the audience, content and sending settings you approve, including scheduled messages.

Use accurate sender details and subject lines. Include the required sender identification, valid postal address and a working unsubscribe method in marketing email. Honor opt-outs within applicable deadlines. Do not remove unsubscribe information, re-add unsubscribed contacts, bypass suppression lists or keep sending to addresses known to be invalid. See the FTC’s commercial email guidance for U.S. requirements.

Sending may be slowed, queued, restricted or paused to protect recipients and delivery. High bounce rates, spam complaints, repeated failed sends, provider restrictions or evidence of an ineligible audience may require review. No particular send speed, inbox placement or delivery result is guaranteed.

    DNC screening: existing relationships only

DNC screening is only for your existing database of contacts with whom you have an existing relationship. Cold lists are prohibited.

This restriction is required by our agreement with our DNC provider. Adding a number to your database does not make it eligible for screening.

Eligible contacts include current or past clients and people you already know through direct personal or business dealings. Do not submit purchased or rented lead lists, scraped directories, data-mined contacts, cold prospect lists or other third-party lists of people with whom you have no existing relationship. Do not use screening to prepare a cold calling or cold texting campaign.

These are eligibility rules for our service. They are separate from the legal requirements for contacting a person. An existing relationship or a screening result does not establish consent, grant permission to call or text, or guarantee compliance. You remain responsible for applicable laws, consent, internal do-not-call records and opt-out requests. The FTC’s DNC guidance explains federal obligations; other rules may also apply.

DNC information is provided to support decisions about eligible contacts. Do not resell screening, share registry data with others or use it for list building or unrelated purposes.

    Imports, storage and account access

Upload data you are entitled to use and keep it within the purpose of your account. Do not use SphereSync™ as unrelated file storage, redistribute access, compromise another account or interfere with the service. We may ask how a contact list was obtained or request information needed to review eligibility. Provide an accurate explanation; avoid sending private contact records by ordinary email unless we have arranged a suitable way to share them.

    Fair-use limits and review

This policy does not set a fixed monthly AI or email allowance. Any published limits in your plan, checkout or order still apply. The absence of a numeric cap does not authorize unrestricted automated use, spam or prohibited DNC screening.

Routine conversations with Sloane, newsletters and client-event invitations to an eligible audience are intended uses. Volume alone is not proof of misuse. We consider the purpose, frequency, automation, audience eligibility, effects on other customers, delivery reputation and provider restrictions.

Where reasonably possible, we will explain a concern and give you a chance to address it. We may limit or pause the affected feature while reviewing misuse. Immediate restriction may be necessary for security, unlawful activity, prohibited lists or harm to recipients or the service. Repeated or serious violations may lead to suspension or termination under the applicable platform terms.

If your normal business needs more capacity, contact us. Any paid increase or additional charge must be disclosed and agreed before it is applied. This policy does not create automatic overage charges.

    Questions, reviews and updates

If you are unsure whether a list or workflow is eligible, ask before using it. To request a review of a restriction, email info@spheresync.com with your account email and a description of the intended use.

We may update this policy as features, providers or requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the notice process in the applicable platform terms. The date above identifies this version.
